We are pleased to announce the addition of direct bank transfer functionality. This is a highly useful option for our customers who wish for funds to be deposited directly to their bank account. We support both one-off bank transfer requests, and periodic requests for customers who wish to have periodic transfers.  All transfer requests submitted before 14:00HRS EAT, on business days, are processed on the same day.

Sometimes you may have the need to link payment records directly into your organization's internal systems. For example, you might want to be able to import payment data directly into your accounting system as it comes in, to be able to produce on-the-fly purchase reports without having to manually make accounting entries for each payment received.  Achieving this type of direct link requires you to have advanced computer programming skills or to have staff in-house to do the programming.  The good news is that Yo! Payments makes this easy for you, in a way that no other mobile payment provider in Uganda is doing.

We have an ecosystem.  We have a list of computer programmers who are well versed with Yo! Payments and can develop for you ay solution you need in no time. These programmers also have access to direct, premium support from us, should there be any tricky situation they need advice on, while working on your solution.

Yo! Payments is gaining fast adoption among the programming community in Uganda, like no other payment solution.  We already have two programmers who have contributed "code libraries" for Yo! Payments.  These "code libraries" quicken the process of writing applications that use Yo! Payments (for example linking Yo! With our newly launched Pay Now Buttons feature, receiving mobile payments on your website is now as simple as the "Copy & Paste" action that we are all familiar with.

Pay Now Buttons do not require advanced technical skills to use.  All you need to do is log into your account at https://payments.yo.co.ug/ybs/portal/ , then click "Pay Now Buttons" and follow the simple directions.

• Instant Payment Notifications. Get notified immediately you receive a payment. Click "Instant Notification" in your account for more details.
• PDF Statements. You can now conveniently download your statements in PDF format for future reference.

Yet again, we are pleased to announce more developments on Yo! Payments.  Yo! Payments is a living platform and we're constantly thinking about new ways of making the system more and more useful to you.  Following are some of the latest developments:

* WAP Site. You can now conveniently and securely access your account using your mobile phone browser. Just go to the website http://m.yo.co.ug/ on your mobile phone browser!  (Note: Requires mobile Internet e.g 3G)

* USSD Portal. As an alternative to WAP, USSD enables you to access your account from your mobile phone without the need for Mobile Internet.  To test this very convenient facility, dial *130*14# on your MTN Uganda phone.  Note:  *130*14# is a temporary test code, currently only available on MTN Uganda.  The new, official, code will be communicated as soon as activated.

* Convenient Bulk Payments. Our new Bulk Payments facility enables you to conveniently pay multiple people from your account by simply uploading a file with a list of the people to pay. This convenient facility comes with the usual security features you have come to expect from Yo! Payments, such as: authorization by multiple people, access control and audit trails.

* Added Security. You now have full control over which automated operations can be performed on your account through the API.  To review this, go to the "Security" tab and click "API Access Control"

* New API Operations. Good news for developers! From "non-blocking" operations to accessing mini statements programmatically, this release is filled with developer goodies.  To see what's new, get a copy of the latest API document (version 2.0) from https://payments.yo.co.ug/index.php/developers

* Sandbox Server. More Good news for developers!  The Sandbox server has been updated to enable you to test specific types of responses to your API operations, such as error conditions.  Detailed information is available in the latest API document (version 2.0).
